Jeff Sanders, Tarrant Net founder, spoke to a group of Hurst, Euless & Bedford ministers last week.  Through Tarrant Net, Sanders is facilitating and encouraging all churches in Tarrant County to work closely in their common goal of Kingdom initiatives. 

Sanders shared his vision which included three actions items:  helping churches cross racial and denominational lines, getting outside the church and into the community and sharing the gospel, because “that is what changes lives here and for eternity,” Sanders said.

Scott Sheppard, Executive Director of 6 Stones Mission Network, asked the church leaders, “What do you want to accomplish and how can we help you?  If you have ideas and dreams, we will partner with you and help you mobilize.”

There was a positive response from the area churches.  A spirit of unity enveloped the room as ministers from several area Baptist churches, Crown of Life Lutheran Church, First Church of the Nazarene, Metroplex Messianic Fellowship, Mid Cities Bible Church, St. Abanoub Coptic Church, Tongan First United Methodist Church and others talked with each other about what their churches greatest needs are and how they can work together to meet those needs.
