Operation Back 2 School is an annual event where 6 Stones provides eligible HEB ISD students with school supplies to help them start the year ready to learn. Elementary students also receive a new backpack.
But the event is about more than supplies. Families are also connected with local agencies, helpful resources, and community partners that can support stability throughout the year.
Operation Back 2 School is more than a supply distribution event. It is a day when students are encouraged, families are welcomed, and the community comes together to help children start the school year with Hope.
Watch one family’s Operation Back 2 School experience and see how your support helps create a meaningful start to the year.
The start of a new school year should feel exciting, not stressful. For many families, the cost of school supplies creates an added burden before classes begin.
Through Operation Back 2 School, the community helps remove that barrier so students can walk into class prepared, encouraged, and ready to learn.
Operation Back 2 School works through a partnership between HEB ISD, 6 Stones, donors, volunteers, event sponsors, and community partners.
6 Stones works with HEB ISD to identify the school supply items students need, then customizes kits through a bulk vendor to extend every dollar. Families are also connected with community resources that support stability all year long.
Donors, volunteers, businesses, churches, civic groups, organizations, and event sponsors each play a role by providing supplies, serving families, and helping students begin a successful school year with confidence and Hope.
Operation Back 2 School is made possible by donors, volunteers, businesses, school partners, event sponsors, and local agencies who want students and families to begin the school year with encouragement and Hope.
Whether you give, serve, sponsor the event, or connect families with helpful resources, your involvement helps students start the school year with confidence and Hope.

Our biggest need is monetary donations. 6 Stones works with HEB ISD to identify the supplies students need, then purchases custom school supply kits through a bulk vendor to extend our community’s buying power. Each kit, including a backpack for elementary students, costs $40 per child.
We also accept new school supplies for families who need emergency assistance. Visit our Amazon Wish List to order supplies, or contact schoolbased@6stones.org if your business or organization would like to coordinate a collection drive.
Space is limited, and we are primarily looking for agencies that serve families in Hurst, Euless, and Bedford with free or low-cost services that help families stay stable throughout the year. To learn more about participating as a vendor or agency, contact schoolbased@6stones.org.
