Girl Scout Seeks to Make a Difference

GirlScoutSign

Just as becoming an Eagle Scout is the final steps in a boy’s journey as a Boy Scout, a Girl Scout’s final step is her journey is to earn her Girl Scout Gold Award. Seventeen-year-old Danielle Agler hopes to earn this award.

Agler’s plan includes making small, educational signs to place in the demonstration gardens at the Bedford / 6 Stones Community Garden. It also includes building a flower bed beneath the large informative sign to late be filled with plants. She also painted the sign bright green and yellow and plans on filling it with information about the garden at a later date.
