Mentoring / Weekend Feeding Program Update

We are excited about the progress of the Lunchtime Mentoring/Weekend Feeding program.  The initial orientation meeting was held last week.  Paul McCollum, principal, Spring Garden Elementary, shared his heart’s desire for these children and shaped the vision of how we can help meet their needs.  Paul affirmed that the families had responded very positively to the parent contracts and explained how they sincerely appreciate other adults being willing to invest time in the lives of their children.  Lunchtime Mentors will begin meeting with the children next week.  Additional mentors are welcome.  Check back here for information about the next Mentor Orientation to be held in February.
