Scholarship Winner

DR. GENE AND MARY KAY BUINGER SCHOLARSHIP WINNER

We are proud to announce this year’s scholarship winner is Yared Wondemagegn. Yared came to the US from Ethiopia with his dad, mom and younger sister and entered HEB ISD as a seventh grader at Euless Junior High. He graduated from Trinity High School this year, ranking 17th out of 749, and had a GPA of 4.3782. Yared is a candidate for an IB diploma. He plans to attend the University of Texas at Dallas where he will major in Biology with plans to then attend medical school. He will be the first in his family to go to college. This scholarship was made possible through your support of the 6 Stones Black and Blue Run for Hope. Mark your calendar to join us next year on Saturday, May 16, 2015.
