In observance of Memorial Day, the New Hope Center will be closed on Saturday, May 24 as we honor and remember those who gave their lives in service to our country. We look forward to welcoming you back during our regular hours the following week.

FBC Hurst Reaching Out at Bellaire Park

First Baptist Church Hurst strives to meet the needs of kids in the Bellaire Park area. They constructed this temporary tent to help the kids stay a little warmer as they met for Kids Club on a Tuesday evening. They had 70 in attendance last week! We are looking 8-10 more volunteers who will come on board and launch a Thursday evening event in the park that will expand the work we presently do in the park on Tuesdays. Interested folks will receive on-the-job training by connecting with the Tuesday evening event. Mindi Bone and her team from First Baptist Church of Hurst started working in the park two years ago and have developed a format for community service that works!
