30 miles to end child sacrifice

Peace Lutheran Church we will be hosting Rose’s Journey the first weekend of October. It is an event that is intended to raise awareness to continued practices of child sacrifice and mutilation in Uganda and other African countries.

Come hear this remarkable story of Rose, a young lady who was being trained to be a witch doctor when she decided to convert to Christianity and not uphold these practices.

The 30 mile walk on Saturday, October 6 will reflect the journey she took at 16 years old. A journey that began when she was ostracized from her family and village because of her decision.

To raise awareness, Narrow Road is bringing the walk to the DFW area. Rose will be speak on Friday night and lead the walk on Saturday.
