Match Photos – February 26, 2020

After a long inclement weather break, Liga HEB returned to action Wednesday night. In a pair of contentious matches, Hurst City and Atlético staked their claim to the top of the table. In Tier II, Spartans and Raiders set themselves up for their own high-stakes matchup in the regular-season finale. With one game left, the only thing we know for sure is that Hurst City will make the playoffs.

We can’t be sure yet. If HEB ISD resumes school, we will work around testing schedules to try and make up a few matches and reschedule both the Champions Cup Match and All-Star Game. Updates on social media as they become available.

If there will be a summer school program over this upcoming summer will we continue the season or will it be cancelled?

Hey Thomas,

We can’t be sure how things will play out until the district puts their final plan in place. We’re hoping that we get the chance to play a shortened season after everyone returns to school, and we will do whatever we can to keep that option on the table. Ultimately, however, we can’t make plans for certain until the Social Distancing period is over and we can meet with HEB ISD officials to take stock of our options.
