Ellen: Hurricanes and Homelessness

Ellen Lobue didn’t go to school to become a Social Worker, but the job got a hold of her there. The more she learned about the field, the more she loved it. She was pressed into Full-Time service by Hurricane Katrina in 2004, and she’s been with the Hurst-Euless-Bedford Independent School District ever since. Helping at-risk kids is her passion.

And she’s a big fan of Operation Back 2 School.
