Community Celebration Inspires Continued Collaboration

Dr. Gene Buinger, Dr. Faye Beaulieu, Scott SheppardWe were inspired as we heard from school district, city, county, and state officials last night at the Community Celebration.  Matthew 5:14 says “You are the light of the world.  A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.”  These were some of the words echoed by Dr. Buinger, HEB ISD Superintendent last night.  When community volunteers, the faith-based community, the hospital district, the school district, city managers, and county and state officials work together, people notice.  The community-enhancing, life-changing results cannot be hidden, and there is no limit to what can be accomplished.
