Becoming a mentor is more than just guiding someone—it’s a journey of growth and transformation for both of you. As a Momentum mentor, you’ll build meaningful relationships, celebrate victories, and witness firsthand the profound impact of hope and encouragement. Mentorship not only empowers mentees to overcome challenges but also deepens your own perspective, compassion, and purpose.
As a Momentum mentor, your role is to walk alongside your mentee over the course of four months, combining class sessions with one-on-one mentoring. For the first eight weeks, you and your mentee will attend structured classes together, learning from a curriculum designed to address life’s challenges and build stability. During the following eight weeks, you’ll provide personalized support through one-on-one follow-up sessions. This combination of class and individual mentorship makes the process approachable and impactful for both you and your mentee.
We provide all the tools and resources you need to succeed as a Momentum mentor, and the journey begins with a few simple steps:

Yes! In addition to mentoring, we’re looking for volunteer Hospitality Coordinators to help make our sessions welcoming and organized. Hospitality volunteers play a vital role in setting up the room, arranging food and refreshments, and ensuring everything is ready for each weekly class. This is a great way to support Momentum behind the scenes and contribute to the success of the program.
