6 Stones Celebrates 900th Home During CPR Spring Blitz
BEDFORD, TEXAS — On April 25th – 26th, hundreds of volunteers rolled up their sleeves and got to work for the 6 Stones Community Powered Revitalization (CPR) Spring Blitz—bringing new life to homes across the Mid-Cities. This season’s project marked a major milestone: volunteers completed work on the 900th home in CPR’s history. Click to Watch Recap Video
What started as a simple act of neighborly care has become a movement of transformation. Over two days, 765 volunteers gathered to restore 24 homes for elderly, disabled, and income-limited homeowners, many of whom are unable to maintain their properties due to physical or financial limitations.
“Reaching our 900th home is a powerful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together with compassion and purpose,” said Jen Leney, Executive Director of 6 Stones. “Every brushstroke and nail tells a story of hope. We’re not just fixing houses—we’re restoring dignity, building trust, and reminding our neighbors they’re not alone.”
The 6 Stones CPR program brings together cities, businesses, churches, and civic groups to provide exterior home repairs at no cost to homeowners. The work includes painting, landscaping, and minor repairs—all completed by volunteers who give their time to serve others.
