Preschool Kids Making an Impact

ChildrensCenter

When you think you are too young to help, think again!  Children’s Center Preschool in Colleyville challenges their kids from 1-5 years old to participate in a mission of the month.  6 Stones has been privileged to be the recipient of four of the nine months of activity.  In September they had a Shoelapalooza Drive where the kids brought lightly worn or new shoes to their school where they collected 302 pair for the New Hope Center.  In October they painted 12 flower pots and helped plant the flowers with the assistance of the Community Garden Committee that was then delivered to the homeowners of the CPR fall blitz.  In November they collected 502 cans of food to donate to the New Hope Center and in December they collected coins to donate to 6 Stones amounting to $273.50!  What an amazing thing to be teaching our preschool kids that they can also be a part of helping our community.  Thank you Children’s Center Preschool!
