Christmas presents under the tree

We received a letter from a thankful mother who received hope for her 3 children as part of Night of Wonder:

Dear Saints,

I just wanted to take an opportunity to thank you and all those involved that provided my 3 children with Christmas.  Without your help there would not have been any presents this year.

In 2009 these 3 kids along with 2 other siblings were removed from their biological mother's home due to medical neglect and improper supervision.  No one in their family could take care of them.  I knew their grandmother and one day she called me and asked me to take them – so I stepped up.  Due to complications I receive no help from the family nor the state.

This last year has been really hard on my family.  I have experienced illness, divorce and loss of income.  These days we struggle just for the basic necessities like gas for the car, clothing, toiletries and even money to wash our laundry.  I know the situation is temporary so I keep my head up and take it one day at a time.  No matter what happens we will stay together as a family.

Thank you all so much for your generosity during this difficult time of year.  Please pray for us.  God Bless you all.

– A thankful mother

Thank you to everyone who made Night of Wonder possible.  YOU truly are a catalyst of HOPE.
